Academy Online Banking Services
The Academy Online Banking Services is a division of the Armed Forces Bank that is not owned or associated with the US Government but owned by the Dickinson Financial Corporation.
This financial corporation also owns Sun Bank in Arizona, Southern Commerce Bank in Florida, Academy Bank in Colorado and the Armed Forces Banks that are located on military installations in 17 states across America.
For investing money with any of their online banks, they are all similar to the one provided by Academy Bank. They are also open in 25 in store Wal-Mart locations to help serve their customers better.
The online banking services of Academy are similar to what other financial institutions are offering. This includes free bill paying and access to all of your active accounts 24/7. You can review your transactional history and current status of each account at a time and place of your choosing.
The current interest rates being offered by Academy Bank include an APY of 0.25% on their savings account and 0.10% on their Platinum Checking account. Both accounts do not have a minimum deposit amount to open the accounts.
The bank rates of the Money Market Account are set up in a tiered format. The minimum balance amounts include less the $25,000, $25,000, $50,000, $100,000, $250,000 and over $1,000,000. The corresponding APY’s are 0.30%, 0.40%, 0.55%, 0.60%, 0.75% and 0.80% respectively.
For those Academy Bank customers that have a smart phone, they also have mobile banking available to them. This offers all the same services and features of the online banking services are available on your phone thru your mobile service provider.
