Aspire Credit Union
The Aspire Credit Union is a not-for profit financial cooperative, which means all earnings at the end of the year are returned to its members in the form of better, low-cost financial services. Aspire Federal Credit Union was the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Eastern Region Federal Credit Union.
It was founded in 1948 when 7 people pooled their shares of $5.00 each to initiate the original charter intended to serve a small group of Civil Aeronautics Administration (now Federal Aviation Administration) employees. The decision to change name is due to the fact that they are now serving more than just employees of the FAA. Presently, Aspire FCU is serving 20,000 members within many diverse employee groups throughout the US northeast and is now a $175 million dollar credit union. It now serves membership through eight branches in four states including New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and New Hampshire. Additionally, they offer an array of online services and information as well as a Member Call Center. Members can speak directly to a Member Service Representative, through the Call Center, who can provide them with immediate assistance with most transactions, loan applications, and other credit union services.
Aspire FCU offers various low cost mortgage loans, home equity products, home owner’s insurance or refinancing. It promises high yields and flexible terms that will help you save more money for your future dreams whether you get a savings account, money market, share certificates (CD), or IRA account. They offer up to 100% financing on new and used vehicles. With their car financing, they offer low rates, affordable options, and even complete insurance coverage at a great rate. Aspire FCU also offers products and services to help you reach a goal to get out of debt.
