Capital One Credit Cards

The number of Capital One Credit Cards is many. There are rewards cards, student cards, secured cards partnered cards, prepaid cards and small business cards. The right one for you is determined on how you plan to use it and your credit score.

Some of the more popular ones are the Venture Rewards, No Hassle Cash Rewards and the Student Rewards.

The Venture Rewards is for the person who flies on a regular basis. For every dollar you charge on the card, you receive 2 reward miles. The miles are redeemable on any airlines and there are no fees when the card is used overseas.

This card is for those with excellent credit scores and they receive an APR of 13.9% which is variable. In addition if $1000 is charged to the card within the first 3 months an additional 10,000 bonus rewards miles are given to the card holder. There is an annual fee of $59.

The No Hassle Cash Rewards Card is for those applicants with average credit. They receive 2% cash back on gas and groceries purchases at major chains made with the card and 1% on all other purchases. The cash rewards on this card never expire. There is an intro APR of 0% until April 2011 then a variable rate of 19.8% will be active on all balances. The annual fee for this card is $39.

The Student Rewards Card is for those with very limited credit history like college students. They receive 2% cash back when the cards are used in restaurants, on cell phone bills and text books. On all remaining items there is a 1% cash back reward. There is no annual fee associated with this card and the rate applied to unpaid balances is a variable 24.9% APR.
