Checkingfinder.com Review

Checkingfinder.com is a new website designed to help you find the best high yield checking accounts nationwide.  Too many people get stuck with free checking accounts paying low checking acount interest rates.  Checkingfinder.com helps you to find high interest savings accounts at banks close to you.

Checkingfinder.com

Checkingfinder.com boasts that it allows you to find free checking accounts with CD like interest rates.  That is perfect.  Who wouldn’t want the advantages of a free checking account with the interest rates of certificates of deposits?

Are the checking accounts FDIC Insured?

According to the checkingfinder website all of the rewards checking accounts on checking finder are FDIC insured.  I would never open a bank account that was not FDIC insured.

How Do You Use Checkingfinder.com?

Checking Finder is extremely easy to use.  You type in your zip code and the amount of money you intend to deposit.  Once you submit this information, it lists the free rewards checking accounts in your area.  You can sort the rewards checking accounts by the highest interest rates or by vicinity.

When I typed in my zip code, the following free rewards checking accounts were highlighted.

  • Malvern Federal Savings Bank Rewards Plus Checking with 5.01% interest rates
  • Altra Federal Credit Union A+ Checking with 4.25% APY checking interest rates
  • Connexus Credit Union Xtraordinary Checking Account with 5.15% checking interest rates

These are just the first three rewards checking accounts listed.  I highly encourage you to check out Checkingfinder.com.  It is a great website to help you find the best online bank rates.

  2. It should be noted that these high yield checking accounts require a few hoops to jump through to receive the high yields (debit card usage is the main one). Also, most have a cap on the balance that qualifies for the high yield. Nevertheless, these accounts are still good deals.
