By opening a Citizens Bank Checking Account, $100 Checking Account Bonus and more can be yours. This offer is only available to several states in the north eastern part of America and is only valid until March 26, 2010.
To qualify for the bonuses, a checking account must be opened. There are six to choose from. There is the Green Checking, Student Checking, Circle Gold Checking with Interest, Circle Checking with Interest, personal Checking with Interest and Circle Checking.
The $100 bonus has several different parts to it. There is a $50 bonus for those with a checking account that set up a direct deposit of $250 or more. Then there is an additional $25 for the use of the debit or credit card 5 times on signature based purchases. The last $25 is for paying a minimum of 5 bills with the Citizens online bill payment system. This is a total of $100 once all the requirements are met.
To qualify for any of these bonuses a new checking, debit card or credit card account must be opened between February 20 and March 26 2010. The above stated requirements must be fulfilled April 30, 2010 for the account to qualify for the bonuses. The bonuses will be paid to the qualifying accounts by June 30, 2010. This amount will be reported to the IRS as prescribed by law.
If the qualifying account is closed with 6 months of opening, the bonuses will be deducted from the account before it is permitted to close. The bank rates on the interest bearing accounts can be found at the Citizens online banking website.
The Citizens Bank Checking Account, $100 Checking Account Bonus is only available for a limited time and in certain north eastern sates.
