HDFC Online Banking
The HDFC Online Banking service is named NetBanking. This is where any account holder can find up to the second information on their accounts. To sign up for this service, the long queues and paper work have been eliminated by just placing a simple phone call with the use of a TIN number. If that is not known, a PIN number can be mailed to you within 5 working days.
There is also access for registration with online forms that can be downloaded and submitted to the local branch office. The last way is to register at a HDFC ATM.
Once you are registered, you can view your account balances and statements. If needed, you can transfer funds between accounts and create fixed deposits online. You can also request a demand draft, pay your bills, and order checks all at a time and place of your choosing. If you need to stop payment on any check, this too can be accomplished 24/7.
There is no cost for use of NetBanking, but one requirement is needed to be fulfilled. That requirement is that if a minimum balance is required with an account, that it be honored.
