Suntrust Bank Online

We here at Online Banks Blog have looked at SunTrust CD rates, but haven’t reviewed how their online banking offers work, so we thought we’d look at SunTrust Online for you too.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, SunTrust Bank has a lot of local customers. With the current trend towards more and more online banking for most consumers, of course, many of those people have gone online for their banking needs.

With this increased use of SunTrust Online, the number of SunTrust Bank Online reviews is rising as users give their feedback on various sites around the Internet. Reviewing several, we saw the trends.

Most people who use branches for face-to-face banking are happy with the level of customer service and fast action they can usually get from SunTrust Bank employees. Online users, however, are finding a different story.

While basic functions like account balances, history reviews, and so forth are generally acceptable on SunTrust Bank Online, some users complain about slow site loading times, real accessibility problems for mobile and smart phone users, and so forth.

On the other hand, their fraud liability protection appears to be outstanding with few SunTrust Bank customers complaining about how easy (or difficult) it was to deal with fraud issues and get reimbursed.

The website itself for SunTrust Online is nicely made, simple to navigate, and loads cleanly. Testing showed no slow access or obvious problems. Most functions are direct and easy to find and use. Some policies on bill pay and other automatic services are not clearly spelled out, though, so checking with a bank manager or customer service representative for SunTrust Bank Online might be prudent before using those.

Overall, SunTrust is basically average in their offer, customer feedback, etc.
