The TD Bank best CD rates are from America’s most convenient bank. This financial institution serves 12 states in the union with over 1100 branch offices. This is the 15th largest bank in America with over $160 billion in assets on deposit.
These bank rates are for the Philadelphia area. Because of the size of this financial institution some rates vary from state to state. Please verify the rates from your area when necessary.
The Basic CD has no monthly maintenance fee and only requires a minimum deposit of $250. The 9 month CD has an APY of 0.75%.
The No Catch CDs require the same $250 minimum deposit but there is one withdraw permitted during the term of the CD without a penalty being assessed. The 6 month CD has an APY of 0.45% and the 12 month CD has an APY of 0.40%.
The Step Rate CD’s requires a minimum of $250 to obtain the stated APY’s. These rates increase over time and there is one withdraw permitted within 10 days after the anniversary date of the CD.
The 3 year Step Rate CD has an overall APY of 1.35%. For the first year the APY is 0.95%. The second year the APY is 1.14% and the third year the APY is 1.93%.
The 5 year Step Rate CD has an overall APY of 1.80%. The first year the APY is 0.75%. The second year the APY is 1.00%. The third year the APY is 1.74%. The fourth year the APY is 2.23% and the fifth year the APY is 3.20%.
