Wachovia CD Rates Keep Falling
Since the Wachovia bank acquisition by Wells Fargo, the Wachovia CD rates keep falling. Wachovia featured certificates of deposit have traditionally had some of the best cd rates. But either the financial crisis or the Wells fargo acquisition has been having a downward pull on current cd rates.
The Wachovia featured CDs have always been one of the first places I looked to find the best current cd rates. While the current Wachovia featured certificates of deposits aren’t bad, they aren’t as high as they once were.
The current Wachovia 60 month CD has a cd interest rate of 5%. The 12 month CD pays 4% APY certificate of deposit interest rate and the short term 7 month Wachovia CD is earning 3% APY. You should still always monitor the Wachovia CD rates, but we hope that the Wachovia CD rates don’t keep falling.
