WaMu CD Rates
Despite the recent trouble that Washington Mutual has experienced and its acquisition by JP Morgan Chase, WaMu CD rates are still some of of the best bank cd rates. The WaMu certificate of deposit rates have been falling under the control of JP Morgan Chase, but the WaMu CDs are still great cd rates.
WaMu 6 Month CD
The current WaMu 6 month CD has an interest rate of 2.00%. This 6 month CD is not one of the best 6 month CDs and I would not put my money in this certificate of deposit.
WaMu 12 Month CD
The 12 month CD rates on the WaMu CDs are paying 2.75% APY. Again, unfortunately these are not great WaMu CDs. For some reason Washington Mutual is promoting its longer term certificates of deposits over its 6 month CD and 12 month CD.
WaMu 5 Year CD
The WaMu 5 year CD rates are the best WaMu CDs right now. The 5 year CD has a 5.00% APY with a $1,000 minimum deposit. These 60 month WaMu CDs offer great CD rates for any person looking for a long term certificate of deposit.
