Webster Bank Online

With the Webster Bank Online services, the customer never misses out on anything a brick and mortar branch office has to offer but can be in the privacy of their own home. The brick and mortar version of this bank came into business in 1935, and today covers 4 states with branch offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.

The online services from this bank provide their customers with all of their account information in one convenient location. The types of accounts that can be accessed are checking, savings, money market, CDs, credit cards, brokerage and loans taking out.

For all accounts other than loans, the transaction, statement and deposit slips can be viewed for a full 18 months of history by the customer at a time of their choosing. For loan information, the history can be viewed for a 12 month period. The transfer of funds can be achieved online between eligible accounts. This can prevent any overdraft problems and allows access to your money when you want it.

The online bill pay allows for single or reoccurring payments to be scheduled. This is a free service to Webster checking and money market account holders. For those customers that use an accounting software, QuickBooks, Quicken and Microsoft software can have the accounts data downloaded directly into them.

The current bank rates from Webster include a savings return of 1.00% in their Premier Saving for balances over $100,000. The 5 year CD has an APY of 2.25% for deposits over $1,000.

The Webster Bank Online services are protected by Entrust. This is the latest in online security.
